Launch Points

Boat ramps are available at Omaha, Sandspit, Algies Bay, Martins Bay, Buckletons Beach, and Scotts Landing.

Boat Parking

Berths are available at Sandspit Marina. Bookings are essential – phone (09) 425 0099.

Fuel

On-water fuel is available from Leigh wharf, and there are several gas stations in the area.

Fuel at Sandspit Marina is for members only.

Bait & Ice

Supplies can be purchased from Hunting & Fishing Warkworth, or local gas stations.

Food

Please provide your own food for the day and take plenty of water to stay hydrated (not just beer). There are supermarkets in Warkworth, and a Four Square in Matakana as well as local food outlets and bakeries.

Communications
